Fifty-four delegates from POPCOM NCR led by Assistant Regional Director Ms. Maryjane Casimiro visited The Bunker yesterday, November 24 on a benchmarking mission. Ms.Ludivina Banzon, Officer-in-Charge of the Provincial Governor’s Office represented Governor Joet Garcia in welcoming the guests.

Ms. Rossana Verdida, Provincial Population Head shared the best practices of Bataan PPO that may be adopted and/or replicated in their respective city/municipal population offices.

Later in the afternoon, the delegates proceeded to Samal LGU where they were warmly welcomed by Mayor Alex Acuzar. Ms.Madel Sayo, OIC-MPDO, and Mr. Jay Sammy Lat led the in-depth presentation/discussion on how the registry of Barangay Inhabitants and Migrants projects (RBIM), one of the best practices of Samal Municipal Population Office, successfully assist the LGU in providing real-time data and in gaining deeper appreciation from the local chief executives and officials.
